Erin Miller
Erin Miller, who has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics.
I have always been active and passionate about food. I love knowing how the body works and how food can complement that. To me, food is medicine, so pursuing that as a career choice made sense to me.
I have worked in the hospital system for 14 years, I did higher training to specialise in rehabilitation. Over the past 3 years I have worked in hospitals, community settings and more.
Sarah McLachlan
Sarah McLachlan is a naturopath that specialises in helping women balance their hormones, mood and body.
You can’t go wrong with three nourishing meals per day and remembering that the foods you eat directly affect the way you feel.
A nourishing whole foods diet that consists mostly of the foods that are suited to you and your body’s biochemistry, will directly improve your energy levels, sleep patterns, hormone balance and general health, leaving you fresh and ready to handle life’s day-to-day challenges.
Nicole Topp
Nicole Topp, who has has a bachelor of science in Naturopathy, and specialises in brain function.
If you feel you are in a stress response, your body needs acknowledgement for the incredible work that she does, nourish her, nurture her.
No one is coming in on a white horse to do it for you, the person you have been waiting for is YOU!
Bek Nutter
Bek Nutter is a naturopath, herbalist, sports performance and clinical nutritionist and master breath coach and personal trainer.
I fell in love with the breath and how it could be used, not just in one way, but EVERY way. Optimising the way a person breathes influences every cell within their body; both their physical and their mental wellbeing. It is literally the foundation of health.
With this holistic combination, it has led me to implement naturopathic strategies into sports philosophies to support people not only to perform, but to recover and thrive. To be fit AND healthy.
Joanne Wall
Joanne Wall, who is a personal trainer, Pilates instructor and barre instructor.
I spent my whole childhood active, became a dancer in early adulthood so always had a passion for movement and general health and fitness.
I stopped dancing to get a ‘normal job’. I hated working behind a desk and realised I needed to be back an active job that helped others with their health and fitness goals. Find 10 minutes every day to move, stretch and breath. Roll down to plank – a few of these each day and you’ve stretch out your spine and strengthened your core.
Lyn Savage
Lyn Savage is a qualified yoga instructor.
I discovered yoga later in life after a corporate career in the marketing sector. Teaching Yoga and introducing people to the benefits of this powerful practice is what brings me joy. I have a strong intuition that I have discovered my true purpose in life.
I specialise in teaching students to connect to self, to focus on breath as they move and learning to feel their bodies. Training them to let go of the past, to stop worrying about the future and instead learning to truly be in the present moment.
Jacqui Jones
Jacqui Jones has qualifications in child and adolescent welfare, teaching mindfulness meditation and positive psychology.
I have always felt driven to help and hopefully empower our younger generations and over the course of my career.
After experiencing some mental health challenges of my own, this made me want to understand more about the human mind and I also trained to become a meditation teacher. These days, I feel very grateful that my personal and working life blend together so well and I absolutely love what I do! I really do enjoy helping others tap into their true potential through various tools such as meditation and visualisation. I think there is so much that we haven’t been taught about the power of our minds and we all have the ability to create enormous change, if we want to.
Dr Bec Jackson
Dr Bec Jackson is a Consulting Psychologist and specialises in many areas of psychology – clinical, forensic, health and organisational settings. She works with adults, children, teens, and older adults in both the public and private sector.
In general mental health, the most common challenges I see are stress and anxiety, grief and relationship challenges. This is not just isolated to the part of the population who have diagnosed mental health concerns, but many people struggle with these concerns.
Among younger people most recently, it has been an uptake in vaping, issues with body image and cyber bullying that I get asked about most frequently.
Clare Marcangelo
Clare Marcangelo, who is a registered nutritionist with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition) and an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine.
I specialise in supporting anxious and also Neurodiverse children- reducing anxiety, digestive issues and helping with behavioural and sleep issues.
I would say that everyone will benefit from eating from nature and not from the supermarket as much as possible.
Lynn Jenkins
Lynn Jenkins is a clinical psychologist and specialises in working with children and their parents. She is also a trained hypnotherapist as well as a trained kids and family yoga instructor and mindfulness teacher.
I have always been interested in people and their stories, and also how we operate as humans. Early intervention makes huge sense to me so I LOVE working with children and parents.
Often, just a bit of information can completely change the trajectory of how a child is developing – that’s just brilliant!
Ruth Fellowes
Ruth Fellowes is a clinical Nutritionist, Herbalist, educator and speaker, with over 13 years clinical experience and qualifications in Public Health, Health Science, Complementary Medicine and Nutritional Medicine and Western Herbal Medicine.
After 15 years of practice I am still fascinated by the impact and connections that food has within the body. Food is not just about calories or taste, it is medicinal and therapeutic and capable of bringing about so much change within the body, including mental wellbeing,” she says. Today my key focus is still children’s health, mood, behaviour, sleep and gut health, drawing on the knowledge on the rapidly developing field of nutritional psychiatry.
