The Healthy Mummy Premium Smoothies can replace 1 meal up to a maximum of 2 meals per day and we recommend you have a healthy meal for your 3rd meal of the day. The Healthy Mummy Espresso Premium Smoothie contains coffee powder with an average of 66 mg caffeine per serve. This level of caffeine is approximately equivalent to 1 cup of coffee and therefore should be considered with caution by breastfeeding women.
Australian and international food and health authorities generally advise that pregnant and breastfeeding women should limit their caffeine intake to a maximum of 200 mg per day (about two cups of coffee or four cups of tea). Therefore, including The Healthy Mummy Premium Espresso Smoothie into your diet should be treated with caution and in line with your overall caffeine consumption from other sources.
The Premium smoothie is designed to be consumed cold. Heating the Premium Smoothie would destroy the probiotics which is a key ingredient in the product.
